SHM Football Fundamentals and Conditioning Spring 2025
The program will offer non-contact instruction with emphasis on improving each participants
fundamental skills and an atmosphere that will encourage teamwork and self-motivation for both Flag
and Tackle football.
The participants will be taught basic stretching/conditioning and progress into fundamental offensive
and defensive drills that are adaptable to Flag and Tackle football games. By providing instruction on
football fundamentals and conditioning the participants will have the opportunity to learn more about
the game of football as well as the role of conditioning and proper technique to elevate individual and
team performance.
The program is for beginner to experienced athletes and includes instruction, skills drills, and game
competition (non-contact). Participants are separated by age/ability groups to create friendly
competition and teamwork.
Typical Itinerary (will vary due to participation and field availability):
• 5:30PM - Warm up
• 5:45PM - Station drills
• 6:10PM - Water break
• 6:15PM - Offensive/Defensive drills
• 6:35PM - Water break
• 6:40PM - Flag football/combine type drills
• 7:00PM - Session over -Pick up
